Martha Milli, NCC, has been an educator with the Baltimore County School System for the past 27 years. Twelve of those years were spent as an Early Childhood Educator and the last fifteen years have been spent as an Elementary School Counselor. In addition, Ms. Milli is an adjunct instructor, teaching Techniques of Counseling at Loyola University in Maryland. During her years as a teacher and her first few years as an educator, Ms. Milli spent a great deal of time seeking out information on the impact of trauma on children. In addition to self-study, Ms. Milli has attended the National Institute for Trauma and Loss on Children, serves on one of Baltimore County Public School’s Trauma and Loss Teams, attended Roland Savage’s Critical Incident Stress De-Briefing Class and has attended numerous workshops on Trauma through BCPS, BCACD, MSCA and ASCA.
