Lauryn’s Law asks school counselors to recognize youth who may be considering suicide and reach out to them and their parents.  Often the symptoms are confounded by depression and substance abuse.  This full-day workshop will deal separately with depression, substance abuse, and suicide.  It will address the causes, symptoms, most effective interventions. Information for parents for each of these is included.
